I'm Yana
(Well, that's my nickname. My birth name is Ykje, but thatâs abracadabra outside Friesland, the Netherlands, where I'm originally from. đ)
I help stressed people sleep, using science-based tools to create the three ingredients of deep, restorative rest: sleep-boosting surroundings, habits and, most importantly, thoughts.Â
My own struggle with insomnia began during a painful divorce, back in 2015, with a newborn in my arms and a toddler at my side.
It was a very difficult period, but through research-backed strategies and mindful experimentation, I lowered my stress, improved my sleep and grew more resilient than ever. đ
For the past decade I've been sharing these tools, through my articles and columns as a newspaper journalist, my 'Healthy Habits Journal' in Dutch (Gouden Gewoontes Journal), and one-on-one work with clients as a certified sleep coach.

As a Founding Client, youâll shape the course content with your feedback, making this an exciting, personalized experience! The online course will include video lessons, assessments, printable resources, and journaling prompts to ensure your success.
The Self Coaching Package is perfect if you prefer a DIY approach and feel confident following the plan independently.
Youâll still have supportâemail me questions once a week, and Iâll respond within 24 hours (six days a week). Iâll also check in via email at 3, 6, and 12 months post-program to help you stay on track.
